How did you come up with the name "aquabeet"?
This is by far my MOST frequently asked question. There was a Scrabble game one night back in '95 or so. My mother (who won the 1st and only Scrabble tournament she ever played in) had these letters, reconstructed here:
Somehow I saw them, mentally put the extra A in & it immediately struck me as a curious compound word and
provocative visual image. My kids were young then, so all I had a chance to do was make a note and drawing
of it in my sketchbook. I'd come across that blurb every now and then and when those very same youngsters
got a little older, I decided start working in sterling silver. I pulled out my idea, gave it a makeover and "aquabeet"
as we know it today was hatched.
Do you really make everything by hand?
Absolutely. I purchase sterling silver from a supplier and then form it into the lucious pieces that you see here.
What happens when I place an order?
Each piece is made to order. Depending on how busy I get your order will be shipped between 4 - 7 days. If it's going to be longer than that I will let you know.
What form of payment do you take & how much do you charge for shipping?
I take Paypal or a credit card. 7% tax is added to packages shipped in NJ. I use USPS Priority to get the goods to you. The cost is $5.00. If you need Express (overnight) the cost is $16.25.
